I’m John Bonewitz. I’m a high school science teacher at Kea’au High School on Hawai’i Island.

I moved here 6 years ago from Missoula Montana where I had a previous life as a bicycle mechanic and shop director of a community bike shop called Freecycles.

I teach Physics, Intro to Engineering, Biology and Agriculture this year. In the past I have taught AP biology, and anatomy and physiology.
